About your tutor.
After achieving grade A in maths and physics 'A' levels, John Hunter studied at the Universities of Cambridge and York and graduated in Theoretical Physics (IIi) in 1991.
In 1996 John completed PGCE teacher training and since then (about 25 years) has worked as a full-time private tutor in Huddersfield. During this time he has gained a great deal of valuable experience of tutoring (and a few grey hairs!).
John has 3 children and holds an enhanced DBS certificate.
John's approach is to teach the methods and techniques necessary to answer exam questions. By starting with straightforward past paper examples and gradually building up, the student gains confidence, as well as the technical knowledge necessary to answer the exam questions. The sessions are flexible with the student having the opportunity to suggest topics and include school or college work if they want.
